Quynh B. Nguyen

Head Illustrator – Children’s Book Illustrators

Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Quynh Nguyen found her home in Connecticut.

Although she studied communications, she quickly discovered that her introvert personality was no match for it. In her spare time, she tried graphic design and illustrations design and instantly felt in love with it. Quynh has since then been working hard to create professional digital illustrations.

Her focus is on character designs and children’s book illustrations. Quynh’s art style is to create artwork with harmonic color schemes. She loves drawing feelings of whimsy and wanderlust. Seeing readers and authors tumble headfirst into imaginary worlds is one of the reasons she dedicates her career to graphic and illustrations design.

Her characters are either people, anthropomorphized creatures or inanimate objects. Quynh tries to capture the essence of archetypes for her audience to relate to. She is happiest when she brings new ideas to life.

Christopher S. MacCoy

A serial entrepreneur, Christopher started his first business in 2009 at the age of 20 in Coventry Connecticut. Since then he has run several businesses, his most successful business is an IT services company.

Clients of QBN Studios know him well as he is the first point of contact. His primary role is to explain in great depth the whole process of children’s book creation to our customers and give an estimate of time and costs based on everyone’s projects. He takes each project very personally and goes the extra mile to make sure each of our authors’ project is coming to live as per the author’s vision.
